Michele McDonald is a Wyoming native, born and raised in Sheridan.
She spent the 60's living in California where she studied art at Sonoma College and privately with several notable California artists.
She returned to Wyoming, settling in Casper where she married Ray and raised five children.
Michele teaches watercolor and experimental water media classes at the Casper Rec. Her work has been accepted into many national shows including The National Watercolor Society, Women Artists of the West, Northwest Watercolor Society. Recently she was accepted into the annual exhibit at the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists Gallery in Birmingham, England and the Challenge of Champions at Water media 2003 in Houston Texas.
Michele is a signature member of The National Acrylic Painters Association, The Wyoming Watercolor Society, The Montana Watercolor Society, the Northern Plains and the Northwest Watercolor Society. She operates her studio in her home where she opens it to the public once a year in the fall or by appointment.
